Edit Oct 12th, 06 : I have re-upload a better quality version of this image. I also took the freedom to change the aspect ration (a bit thinner and longer than original), so I could offer a better choise of size, in the print section.




Everything you see as been painted (with small & smooth brushes) or drawn with a calligraphy quill (including the bold white border) ; the original signature as been erase with photoshop and I've add the credits also with photoshop.

This drawing's been on my mind for quite some time. The first attempt, if I try to track back, was in 2003, but I had trouble then to finish. Some how, my passion was gone and this came as the way I felt about "loosing my Muse" : "Broken Wings". (See one of my journal entry that talks about it [link] ) : I felt like if I had fallen from the sky, unable to fly, stoke in a dark place I don't know, unfree and fragile.
This is probably the 3rd or 4th attempt, and this time, obviously, I don't feel "broken wings" anymore, since I've been able to finish it. I have been recently commissionned for an image that'll probably do with this style that I wanted to try for so long. So this drawing makes the end of a tuff time for me.
