Translation of the title : "Life of the St Lawrence"
I said that I did upload all about my vacation that was worth my folio... but by assembling my photo album, I find this lil'guy... well, he (or she?) wasn't little at all... A huge seal from the St Lawrence river, wild and curious when you buy a ticket for a cruise to go see the whales.
This was the best pictures I took in that trip. When we got at the point of the whales, it was very wavy and I start getting pretty sea-sick, before we see any whales... and while I was in the very small bathroom, emptying my stomach and holding myself (I WAS very wavy), I was hearing in the microphone : "OH! Look a whale!! Another, at 3o'clock! Wow! This is whale rush!!!! So many!!"
I did see a couple of whales in between to ways in the bathroom... but I've abandonned trying to photograph them... My boyfriend kept my camera and tryed... but there was a lot of people, and with a 75-300mm zoom, it's pretty hard to adjust everything and getting a cool picture, without anyone passing in front of you or without tripping cuz of the waves.
Oh well. It was impressive though, to see their back, in their natural element (not in an aquarium) and to realized how big whales and seal accually are, in the wild

I love the ocean and it's creatures. I found one of these little guys when I was on vacation too, but he refused to be photographed. He would dance around the surface and by the time I clicked, gone.
